Dual protection
Mobioclean team believes a cell phone sanitizer should protect the device for hours after sanitization cycle. Plain UVC phone sanitizers available in the market today do not give that protection.
Mobioclean differs from the rest of the phone sanitizers available in the market by providing a dual protection
- UVC LED technology
- Sanitizing liquid
UVC
UVC LEDs that operate in the bandwidth of 265nm-280nm are utilised to kill the germs that have been accumulated on the cellphone. UVC rays have been used for decades, (infact late 1980s!!) to disinfect/sterilize the air in critical places having zero tolerance for bacteria, mould yeast and viruses. Places like hospitals, industries like dairy, meat, beverage production units, meat storage; bakeries, breweries etc.
The same UVC technology is used in our device. In fact in our device, we are using UVC LEDs which are a superior technology for disinfecting compared to UVC lamps that one finds in all the other generic phone sanitizers. The advantage here is that we utilize the UVC bandwidth is narrow @ 265-280 nm where the germicidal property is most effective as opposed to UVC lamps where the UVC bandwidth is wide from 200 nm to 300 nm.
A sensor has been provided in the unit as a safety feature to ensure that the UVC LED is switched off, in case someone opens the device when the cell phone sanitizing is in process.
Sanitizing Liquid
Just UVC is not sufficient as we discussed here. The disinfecting action has to last longer. In our device a sanitizing liquid is sprayed on a antimicrobial microfiber cloth which is then used to clean the surface of the phone. The sanitizing liquid germicidal property keeps working for hours and protects the smartphone from bacteria, fungi and viruses. A dry mode feature is also available for users who don’t want to use the sanitizing liquid, but just the antimicrobial microfiber cloth.
